Based in Southern California the publisher had unique insight into the Sexual Revolution and its darker underside. This issue of Hippie is among the best of its titles. With it's emphasis on outlaw motorcycle gangs, organized crime, illicit drugs, music festivals and the seedy underworld that thrived on peoples hedonistic vices, it delivers a wonderful glimpse into the erotic sleaze and smut that was the Hippie Movement.
