DETAILS:Unreleased Dynamic Films 1969 Annual by Pendulum Publications, Hollywood, California. Early sexploitation film magazine with a particular focus on science fiction and monster adult films. A number of sexploitation cinema cult films are featured, including the science fiction sex classic Space Thing (1968). Has strong themes of occult rituals, satanism, psychedelic drug use and counter culture depravity. Over 220 pages in length with extensive behind the scenes and onset photos of the movies featured. In many ways the editorial content and magazine layout are very similar to those of Warren Publishing's Famous Monsters Of Filmland - but with a sadistic sexual twist! The similarities have led many to call this issue Ed Wood's homage to Famous Monsters. Our highest recommendation. Rare.
CONDITION: Magazine is in Near Fine condition with minor shelf wear -- mainly some light marks to upper edge of front cover. Numerically we would grade it 9.0 out of 10. Overall an exceptionally well preserved copy of a magazine that rarely appears above poor condition. shape.
Please note that most over-sized Pendulum magazines from this era are typically found in poor condition with the main defect being split spines and loose bindings. The copy in this listing however has tight spine binding that does not show any type of excessive wear. Please see scan for further details of item condition.
