A travel reference guide of gay cruising and pick up spots across North America. Includes American cities, along with Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Makes for a fascinating read. The travel information is accompanied with homo-erotic photography from ACME Press San Francisco along with gay cartoons.
BACKGROUND: Originally envisioned by the compiler to be a kind of compendium to Bob Damron's Travel Guide and other gay travel reference works that had sprung up during the early 1970's. The publisher and distributor, Golden State News, intended to distribute it throughout the United States and Canada. However it was pulled from circulation shortly after its release because of fears local obscenity (sic. homophobic) laws due to the guides focus of sexual pick ups locations. Several year later, Flamingo Press reprinted the magazine but appears to have omitted parts of it - probably to avoid running afoul of local homophobic laws. Rare.
